Assistant Director / Infants
I have 14 years of experience in daycare and preschool. I started working here when I was in high school and loved it so much that I never left! I was the Assistant Manager for four years before becoming the Assistant Director. I have worked with all of the different age groups, but I am currently in the infant room. I love to be able to give the children an environment where they feel safe and loved. I have lived in Butler for over 20 years and have a son named Mark.
I have been employed at our location for 25 years. During this time, I have worked with various age groups. For the past ten years, I have been preparing the children for kindergarten. I enjoy the challenges that we experience in our classroom, and the eagerness with which the children want to learn. Our classroom has a fun and loving environment. I have been a resident of Butler for 35 years. My husband I have 2 grown children, Lauren and Alex.
I went to Berdan Medical School to become a Medical Assistant, and worked in that field until I had my own children. I have worked in childcare for over 16 years. I am with the Toddler 2 class, and I enjoy watching them grow from babies into toddlers, who are learning to recognize their names, shapes, and colors.
I have been employed at Kidoodle for over two years. I am currently enrolled with Child and Family Resources studying to obtain my CDA (Child Development Associate Credential). I have worked as a cheerleading coach for young children for the past six years, and now I am furthering my career as your Pre-K 1 teacher. My goal is to help your child further their education and prepare them for Pre-K 2, while having a fun learning experience.
I graduated from Wayne Valley High School in 2007 and then went on to become a cosmetologist at Roman Academy before starting my career as a hairdresser. After a few years behind the chair, I realized that what I really wanted to do was help children learn and grow and sought a position where I could put my natural love and talent for caring for kids to work. I have always dedicated a lot of time to caring for children and it's truly what makes me happy. To further my knowledge, I have been attending a Childhood Development course to obtain my Childhood Development Associates Credential (CDA). I have been a teacher here at Kidoodle for about 2 years and can honestly say I love being a part of this team and getting to do what I love everyday!
